Hi, when I try to install the monitor driver it says it is not compatible with my device and I need to install the one for my laptop (I already have and it works). However, when I try to go in to stereo mode it says I should disconnect external monitor! Is there something I am missing? Many thnks

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did a full re-install and update on the laptop then attempted to install the spatial labs monitor which the compatibility check of the monitor install stopped in it's tracks and re-pointed me towards the original laptop install so in effect I can't install the specific spatial labs install for the monitor on the laptop. I also tried changing the primary monitor set up etc; to see if the laptop drivers are capable of driving the monitor in stereo mode which they don't seem to be.

When going in to stereo mode the message displayed strongly suggests that the system is designed to only run one spatial labs device at a time, so it could actually be designed like this as opposed to being able to swap between devices when prompted which would be a shame.

I will keep plugging away and see if acer can suggest anything.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply :-)

Hi, this isn't directly related to your question, but I'm wondering how you purchased a Predator Helios 3D 15. I have been trying to find one for the last 3 months, but it's always back-ordered, or now CDW even says Discontinued. Where and when did you buy yours?
