Lower End Full Size GPU for Acer TC-875, Looking for a GPU 50 to 75 watt max GPU with HDMI Port

I have an Acer Aspire TC-875-UR11 and I’m

Looking for a GPU 50 to 75 watt max GPU with HDMI Port, just a level above the on board Graphics, but has available Drivers for Windows 11 Pro 24H2. It is really close to the RAM slots, so to be safe probably not much past the PCIe-16 latch I’m guessing. Plenty of room below the slot. This is just a home business computer and I don’t game, but the on board HDMI video is lacking a bit in quality. I have looked at numerous cards on Amazon at $50, but like the GT-720 for example; no drivers for Windows 11. Anyway, any suggestions would be great from the community.

If you just want a workable and a better graphics card than what the oem cpu graphics can provide, then choose the TC-885 desktops gpu's as the TC-875 desktop Acer didn't fit an optional gpu card to that desktop. I suggest that you either buy the GTX1650 4GB which is a better of the two gpu, or the GTX1030 2GB gopu's as all these TC-885 NVidia gpu's twill work with your 300W Acer proprietary PSUs with your TC-875 desktop. Good luck.

    • These are the GTX1660 and the GTX1030 gpu's Win-11 NVidia Driver Version:566.36 | WHQL as both work under Win-11, so they are suitable for your desktop

Aspire oem Acer fitted gpu's for the TC-885 desktop that will work with your TC-875 desktop.

Thank You very much. Now I’m going to do some searching on eBay and see what I can find. I did upgrade the drive to an M.2 1TB nvme whatever the Intel IRST Octane Card was. Still can’t set it to ACHI, IRST is still the controller, but with the help from the group got the rest done, and upgraded the RAM to 32GB (2x16) DDR-3200. Just wish it wasn’t a 300 watt power supply, but being a somewhat special one unless you want to spend a crazy amount of money I will just hold off on that for now.
    Thank Again to the Group.

The M.2 slot in the TC-875 is a PCIe3 x4 type slot and its an M.2 slot and can also be used as an Optane memory slot, but it should not interfere with plugging an M.2 SSD drive and doing a clone of your OS that was on a SATA 2.5" HDD before and it should work 100%.

Yea, it worked out fine, cloned after I installed, shut down, took out original “C” drive, rebooted and partitioned it. All worked out fine, just don’t understand why the IRST is still the controller because that is no longer supported by Intel since 2020 as I recall.

The Intel IRST is the controller on most of these laptops and desktops even today with all the new Intel laptops and desktops, as when you do a clean install of windows with the M.2 SSD as the boot drive, and you come to the section of windows installation > Where do you want to install Windows? > Load driver, you can’t continue the installation. If you don’t load the appropriate IRST driver for your desktop or laptop, that is how it sis. Even on my brand new Predator PHM16-71 need the IRST driver and has an IRST driver for the M.2 drives when doing a clean install of windows, so be aware as there is nothing wron with your desktops bios.

Intel just changed the name from IRST to VMD in 2020. They didn't stop support for it…
