FF.G17TA.001 - Acer Predator Connect X5 5G - Does not remain online

For the router to work correctly I need to plug it in, wait for at least 10 minutes, and only then turn it on.
Then it randomly goes offline.
It says it is receiving a 5G signal (Blue Led & on dashboard), but it does not remain connected. It just disconnects randomly, making internet use nearly impossible.

It is then still shows a blue LED, but the first dashboard icon changes to a greyed out.

Then sometimes it just shows 2 red LED's on the 4G and 5G.

I've had the unit for a year but it has never worked correctly. I have tried with 3 different SIM cards (Free.fr, Telenet Belgium, Vodafone NL), and it is always the same issue.

Thinking it was due to poor reception (Going randomly from 5 to 2 bars), I tried to improve signal reception by using an external antenna. (https://www.lancom-systems.com/products/software-accessories/accessories/airlancer-i-360d-5g). But that did not help.

Have you checked the router's local address to see if it's using the 5GHz auto channel selector or manually set to a specific 5GHz channel recommended by your IP?

I think the problem is not the local WiFi (5GHz channel) it's about the cellular 5G. Or am I not understanding your question correctly?
But it is set to Automatic as there are no specific requirements regarding the Channel by the Internet provider.

From what device are you seeing random fluctuations from 5 to 2 bars?

It is the Mobile 5G reception from the "Acer Predator Connect X5 5G" that continuously fluctuates.

So it's the primary WAN signal strength that fluctuates, not the local 192.xxx…? I also assume that you followed this primary WAN setup procedure?

Indeed it is the Cellular signal from the Predator that fluctuates, not the Wifi signal. As mentioned in the messages above. The one you circled on the picture.

What other combinations or options have you tried in the setup that might give a more stable primary connection with the cellular tower?

As mentioned in the message I have tried multiple locations, multiple towers, different countries and different SIM cards from different providers. I even bought an external antenna to see if that would improve.
