Every time I play a demanding game on my Acer Nitro, the charger plugs in and finally out on its own, then when I replug the charger it does it again turning off the power output from the charger, when this happens my game fps drops significantly and will maintain unless I replug the charger in which it will do the issue again. What could be the problem here? Battery? Charger?

Which adapter was supplied oem with your Nitro 5 AN515-54 laptop,, as Acer supplied two different adapters with this laptop which were a 135W and a 180W adapter. If you have the 135W then upgrade to the more powerful 180W adapter, otherwise your laptop has a circuitry issue in its power rail that either a capacitor or a mosfet overheats and shorts out that needs analyzing by a technician so that they can pinpoint the exact fault.

As upgrading to a 230W, 280W adapter will not fix this problem as its not a power demand issue but the laptop overheating and stressing the power rail out Good luck and hope this helps you out

These are all the Acer supplied adapter for the Nitro 5 AN515-54

The issue could be with the charger, battery, or charging port. It might be that the charger isn't providing enough power, the battery is faulty, or the charging port is loose. Overheating or power management settings could also be contributing. Try using a different charger, checking the battery health, and ensuring proper cooling.
