I've had this laptop for 4-5 months and i bought it brand new. It used to work great but now it's frequently stuttering and my ethernet is very slow especcialy on steam even tho internet speedtest shows that i have a 800mb/s performance. I installed all of the drivers from the iso file that the laptop came with and it barely changes anything.

Hi, check the telemetry in Task Manager-performance, if heavy network traffic disable Cloud syncing and uninstall bloatware. Check how many apps are running at the background in Task Manager-Processes, if more than 80 uninstall the preinstalled programs and disable Startup apps you don't need. Refresh your system backup, go online and paste this in an elevated command prompt: Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and press Enter, then paste this: SFC /scannow and press Enter to repair the system files. You should see "…did not find any integrity violations'" repeat SFC till you see that. Keep the power adapter plugged in 24/7 (don't use a USB-C charger) and the battery charged 100% at all times, maybe the system is throttling power to preserve battery backup.

You need to have the last bios version 1.21 installed and also make sure that you do a clean install (backup all you valuable data before you do this) of the Win-11 24H2 version with all the updates to OS build 26100.2605, then install the GeForce Experience software and make sure that the NVidia gpu game driver is up to date and let this software scan the driver on your laptop and also play all games with this software’s NVidia settings for your gpu.

Don’t worry about the Acer support drivers or the .ISI files, make sure that all windows updates are up to date and you ensure that the NVidia driver is also up to date. As doing all this will quicken you laptop up and make it perform like its 13th gen cpu and its NVidia gpu is suppose to perform in gaming. Good luck and do all the above and let us know.
