Hi, that may work with small notebooks, CBs and tablets but not with gaming rigs that have powerful dGPUs, you can try it with the Baseus Blade 20,000 mAh USB-C model and a thick 5Amp USB-C cable but it may only add an hour or so battery backup and Windows11 won't detect the capacity leading to all sorts of power issues and power throttling with diminished performance. Keep the power adapter plugged-in 24/7 and the battery fully charged to 100% with this laptop and don't use a USB-C charger either.

    Yes, you can.

You would need to find minimum wattage your laptop needs. For example, my Dell (non gaming) and Lenovo (gaming) laptops each take 90W and 140W chargers, and need a minimum of 65W to allow charging. I got myself a travel power bank with 20,000 mAh and 70W output, and use the type C port to charge my laptops.

I have noticed this with laptops that have type C port option for charging.

On the other hand my Acer and Dell laptops that use a power pin (not type C) and need 180W and 330W need to be connected to power point. Getting a 180W or 330W power bank is impractical. If you wanted to use these with power banks, you'll need to get one that supports 120V/240V power output at rated current levels as mentioned on the laptop charger.

And yes, in case you were wondering, I do have 4 laptops at home, all for my personal use.
