Hi, I'm getting some issues with my laptop, it won't turn on if it's not plugged in. The bluelight just flashed and nothing happened. Laptop
I only turn on if the power adapter is plugged in.
and when I unplug the laptop it doesn't turn off.
I've tried resetting my battery by pressing and holding the power button but this doesn't solve my problem. Is there any other solution to fix my problem? Thanks!

Hi, it is difficult to advise not knowing what model laptop you have but the Aspire series have small pinholes in the back (with a battery sign) to reset the battery. Shut down the laptop and remove the power adapter, stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. Try to boot with the adapter and let the battery charge till the amber battery LED turns blue, shut down and disconnect the power adapter, try to boot with the battery only, if you cannot boot you may have a bad battery, paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert.
