I recently bought a USB-C dock only because I got 2GB internet and my laptop Acer Predator PH315-55 can only go up to 1 GB over LAN and i got a 2.5 GB Lan Adapter. The only issue im noticing is after plugging in the dock and my AC adaptor I keep getting a notification that my PC is in a weak charging state. When I plug out the dock, the adapter is working fine but when I plug back in the dock, I get the notification again. Idk if my PC is prioritizing power from the dock and if so, how do I fix it or what's the solution?

Hi, you probably mean Mbps or Gbps? The LAN adapter on the Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55 can support speeds up to 2,000 Mbps, no need for a hub or dock for that. When having both a USB-C TBT4 docking station and the brick power adapter connected the system will give priority to what is first plugged-in, if the dock has <90W PD (like most docks) and you connect that first it will have insufficient power to fully charge this gaming laptop especially if you have also external monitors without adapters connected to the dock PD ports. Try connecting the brick adapter first then boot and connect the dock and use the HDMi ports for external monitors.

Yes sorry I did mean Gbps. Well maybe the newer ones I suppose because mine says the adapter only goes up to 1000 mbps, its the Killer E2600 Ethernet Controller which caps at 1000 mbps if I'm not mistaken?I agree with everything else you said and tried doing it that way but the moment I plug the dock back in, it takes priority. In fact, my PC will blackscreen and not boot if I have the dock plugged in, I have to plug it out for the PC the move off the black screen and boot normally
