Game freezing screen

Can someone help me, I never had this problem before and it just occured today. I was playing fine a few hours ago but after I turned my laptop off to take some rest, this problem occured.

Whenever I focus on a game (fortnite, tekken 8, marvel rivals) my game freezes. The whole screen freezes but I can still hear the music, buttons being hovered, etc. When I tab out, press the windows key to bring up the start menu, or overlay another tab, the game unfreezes.

(Update) I have also found out that this problem only occurs whenever I play during my laptop is charging. Everything works fine if play before pugging it in, but whenever I plug it in to charge, the problem occurs. I have reached out to Microsoft and they said that it may be due to Power Management.

This is a preview of my problem, please do help me.

Hi, to avoid this behavior keep the power adapter supplied with the laptop plugged-in 24/7 and the battery fully charged to 100% all times. Don't use a USB-C charger and reduce telemetry by disabling syncing with Cloud or if you need Cloud for gaming at least make sure that programs running at the background don't exceed 80 apps (Task Manager-Processes). Uninstall the preinstalled programs, bloatware and programs you don't use. Turn off Turbo Boost and use balanced Power Plan and Balanced Power mode in Power & Battery settings. Check your RAM if only 8GB installed upgrade to at least 16GB RAM.

As mentioned, when charging the laptop, this problem occurs. I am also not using a USB-C charger, only it's orginal charger. I dont have any Clouds synced. Programs running in the background does not exceed 80 applications. Turbo boost is off, and my settings are already set to balanced power mode. Ram is also 16GB. This problem just recently occured and I have been gaming fine before using the same settings as today.

In that case restore your system to a date before the freezing started, you won't lose data only updates made during that period. Type restore in Search and click on "Create a restore point" and "System Restore" with a date, takes 30 minutes:
