Hello everyone, i bought a headset but if I plug it in my laptop (acer nitro 5 An515-43) using 3,5mm jack people can hear my game. I am quite sure its not sound leaking back into the mic because if i plug it in using the wireless USB dongle it doesnt happen. From what I understand its something called crosstalk. Headphones have TRRS and so does the laptop(icon of headphones with mic near the hole). Is there any way to fix it? I could find only people suggesting splitting the headphones and mic cables which doesnt work for me because laptop has only one jack. Thanks.

What are the headphones that you are using, as that is important, as it must be from the headphones. My suggestion is to either change the headpj=hones as they are faulty or get a new pair of headphones as they are not compatible with your Nitro AN515-43 laptop or its plug is faulty. I've never ever experienced what you are experiencing with headphones ever in 38 years of using computers with a desktop or laptop or a Hi-Fi preamp with the older headphone plugs. I‘m currently using a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4 over the ear noise cancelling headphones that has provisions for either a Bluetooth or corded connection and this has never ever happened in both types of connections.
