I did a reinstall …windows 11 24H2.
everything seems to work fine, installed the drivers from the website.
installed the NVidia driver's automatic detection…. maybe the problem lays there??

plugged in my external monitor, and it doesn't want to come on.

any tips or help on this would be nice (and yes i use the right cable USB for video, not a charging cable)

tnx Pete

Hi, the latest BIOS is one year old, did you upgrade to 24H2 manually with an ISO file? Drivers should be installed automatically by WU or Windows11 24H2. Try installing this TBT4 driver from Acer Support for your laptop:

If still no Video out, roll back that 24H2 upgrade or if not possible clean install 23H2 from UUPdump.net.

jep did the bios update (last one, when i bought it, a few months ago)
installed the TBT4 no responce on the monitor… it does show up on boot (lighting up logo)
so its an windows thing …

kind of NOT FUN to have to delete everything and installing things back. i run a few heavy programs that takes a lot of time setting up …

and you think when i do the 23H2 install, it will keep running after windows updates by itself… because otherwise im doing things twice to get the same result. * cant realy disable updates in windows i think…
(this 24h2 is indeed an install from an iso from main source-so its strange to me that it doesnt work out of the box for this intel cpu, it should be a main feature that sould work out of the box …like audio haha )
