Very disappointed from acer brand. I bought acer Nitro 5 in 2021. Now found that power not working. When checked found that motherboard out of order. I won't recommend acer to anyone.

This is a very unfortunate thing that can happen with any laptop especially these gaming laptops that are very sensitive to their main power rails blowing a protective mosfet or capacitor at their cpu or dedicated gpu’s shortening out and making the laptop not boot or function. These sorts of faults happen with other manufacturers gaming laptops also quite often and even more often than Acer. The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 gaming laptop is a very fine gaming and reliable laptop if maintained and updated properly, just as an example, I’ve got the Nitro 5 AN515-56 which is an older laptop than yours and its a very similar spec laptop to your AN515-57 and my Nitro has been working perfectly since new without any problems!

These gaming laptops mainboards can be fixed if they have a main power rail problem and the laptop does not power on, the only major and critical fault is when these gaming laptops (as it mainly happens to these gaming types of laptops) is when their mosfet protective chips fail and allow too much current into either the cpu which is a major failure, as the mainboard needs to be replace as a cpu can’t be replaced and a laptop will not function without a cpu, or if the same happens to the NVidia gpu that can be disabled and you can still use the laptop with its cpu graphics.

But if the mainboard has an ordinary none cpu or gpu affecting blown mosfet or capacitor within its power rail, then that can be fixed 100% and your laptop will function like when it was new, don’t blame Acer as these faults happen with all laptops. I suggest that you take your Nitro gaming laptop to an experienced technician that has all the modem tools like a thermal gun and all microscopic electronic tools so that they can pinpoint where the actual fault of your laptop is. Good luck and hope this gives you an idea of whet/where your problem is.
