i bought my Helios Neo 16 by 3 Months and it turned out really good until i've encountered that my battery doesn't display as charging for some occasional reasons. i try repluging it back again on my laptop and the power lights were blinking, both power and battery. i do think that this would've caused by low voltage power source but i wasn't sure about that answer so i came here in the forums.

Hi, don't use a USB-C charger, update BIOS with version 1.15 dated 2024/12/03 and uninstall these two battery drivers in Device Manager:

Just reboot. If the charging issue persists, bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country and include the power adapter.

Hello, does this BIOS Ver 1.15 work for all PHN16-72 for any country?

    Welcome @Lrll112298,

Yep! You can download the latest firmware (1.17 - 2025/06/09) for your Predator PHN16-72, from the link below:

Yes, the BIOS works for any country but upgrade to last week's released version 1.17 dated 2025/06/09.

If your Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 laptop isn't detecting as charging, check the power cable connection, try a different outlet, and consider recalibrating the battery. If the issue persists, you might need to contact Acer support or explore battery replacement options.

    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Check the Power Cable:
Ensure the power cable is fully and securely plugged into both the laptop and the power outlet. Look for a "click" sound when properly inserted.
    2. Try a Different Outlet:
Test the charger with a different power outlet to rule out issues with the original outlet.
    3. Recalibrate the Battery:
Acer Care may have a battery calibration feature. Find it within the "Checkup" section and calibrate the battery.
    4. Contact Acer Support:
If the problem persists, contact Acer support for further assistance, especially if the charger or battery is suspected to be faulty.
    5. Consider Battery Replacement:
If calibration doesn't resolve the issue and the battery's health is low, a battery replacement might be necessary.
