Charge a Nitro 5 AN515-55-53AG with USB-C, does that model support charge with the USB-C?

Recently, my laptop stop charging, and I'm not quite sure if it is due to the charger or the laptop's battery (when I charge it, the brick gives out a noise for a while for some reason and charges the laptop, and when the noise stops, so does the charge), so, before buying a new charger, I want to see if it does charge at all (I don't live in a place where this model's charger is common).
My laptop is a AN515-55-53AG, does that model support charge with the USB-C? If so, then, what requirements (such as Ws) does the charger need to meet?

    The Nitro AN515-55 is a 4 year old laptop and batteries do fail after 3-4 years, not all some do and do not charge, so do a battery report and see the state of your battery first. Also, be aware that the AN515-55 USB-C port is NOT a charging port, the AN515-55 USB-C port only delivers up to 3A at 5V DC for USB charging if you want to charge a smartphone, headphones, watches etc that are needed to be charged, but this USB-C port its not a charging port for the laptop, I've got the AN515-56 and my laptops USB-C port is the same as yours, I've tried the USB-C adapter from my Swift SFX14-52G laptop which is a 100W Type C - 5V/3A_9V/3A_12V/3A_15V/3A_20V/5A to charge my Nitro and it didn't do anything at all.

    If the normal barrel round plug 1.7 x 5,5 of either your 135W or the 180W 19.5V adapter doesn't work, then it could be either the laptop DC_IN port is faulty or the adapters plug is faulty or the adapter itself is faulty. Check your adapter charger barrel plug with a multimeter and see if it works, put the multimeters - prong on the outside of the plug and the + prong on the inside of the barrel plug, and see if the meter reads 19.5V or 19V, but nothing below 19V, if not then the adapter is faulty, afterwards, check the DC_IN port (like the port shown below) if its faulty or its pins have not come lose from the mainboard. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    @JanSolo

    This model does not support PD charging.

    Check with some local stores to see if they have a 135W Acer charger. Works for many Acer Nitro models.
