Predator PH16-71 RTX 4070 GPU not detected

Hi there, has anyone experienced an issue where their GPU suddenly stops being detected? I bought this laptop a few months ago and it was working perfectly for the first two weeks after I bought it. Then the GPU just disappeared. I tried everything I could find online: a clean Windows reinstall, uninstalling the device from Device Manager and using DDU, disconnecting the battery, and resetting the BIOS, but nothing worked.

Then I found a YouTube video suggesting updating the PCI Express Root Complex in Device Manager using Windows Update, which suddenly reinstalls the NVidia driver via windows update. However, the GPU keeps disappearing randomly, I have to restart the laptop multiple times until the GPU comes back.

Now it disappeared again and still not showing even restarting multiple times and none of the previous solutions are working anymore.

Could my GPU be dead?

Your Predator PH16-71 must have a faulty gpu or a mosfet, capacitor or vram chip that are faulty and you should have NOT opened this laptop, as Acer will void your warranty. I suggest that you send this laptop to Acer tech support asap in your country and get them to pinpoint the gpu error, as Acer does not fix mainboards or their gpu chip faults, they will replace the mainboard with a new board that in these laptops are very expensive and if you voided your warranty by opening the PH16-71 the it will NOT be cheap!

Be aware that a new Predator Helios PH16-71 mobo with the RTX4070 gpu an d the i7-13700HX cpu which is the "Mainboard PH16-71 Intel Ci713700HX HM770 GN21-X6 8GB LG05P_P22BPK - Acer part #: NB.QJR11.002" is a humongous USD $3,018.77 for just the board, which is imo is an absolute ridiculous price, this is from Acer Canada.
