I was using my laptop normally just a couple hours ago, testing some things in obs and then had to restart because the cam was not showing up, a normal bug that has happened to me before in the software. But after it shut down it started updating and showing "System updates are underway. Please keep your device on and plugged in." (attached a pic below), it also made the fans go at full speed, kind of like when you update the Firmware. Thing is, I didn't update anything.
One thing though, after it booted up I looked in Windows Update and there was one update available called "Acer Incorporated - HIDClass - 1.0.0.12" which I looked up and apparently is just a touchpad driver update? So I don't know if that has anything to do.
The latest, "biggest" update I did was to Windows 11 24H2, but that was yesterday and I had already restarted my laptop at least twice after that, no update screen like that on start-up.
I also looked up in Care Center but no updates there either. Functionality is perfectly fine, I just would like to know what changed (if anything).
My device is a:
Nitro AN515-58
i5 12500H
RTX 3050 Ti 4GB
16GB of RAM
