how to fix Intel Rapid Storage Technology vulnerability on Acer Aspire R5-471T-71W2 laptop?

Nord VPN's Threat Protection Pro program returned a message to me under its "Vulnerabilities Found" heading that my Intel Rapid Storage Technology Version 14.8.16.1063 has a High Severity vulnerability and that "Exploiting the vulnerability is relatively straightforward for attackers. They may gain unauthorized access . . . . Risk Mitigation is needed."

What should I be doing to remove this risk? Do I need to install a new driver? If so, where should I go to obtain that driver?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

[I have an Acer Aspire R14 2-in-1 1434 TouchScreen, Model R5-471T-71W2 laptop.]

Do not do anything else. Just ignore that message. It is preferable to use Windows Security rather than third-party anti-malware software.

@AnhEZ28 so are you suggesting I just disregard the notice from Nord?
I do see these (see below) suggested OPTIONAL updates listed under my Windows Update, but I've always disregarded because nothing seemed "broken."

Should I consider installing any of these driver updates? And if so, how do I determine which ones I ought install?

    Yes, just ignore it.
Those drivers are for the I/O and Management Engine, not related to the Rapid Storage Technology. It doesn't matter much if you decide to install those updates.
