Hi,

I opened my Acer Nitro T an515-54 to clean up the fans and now it won't start. I checked that I plugged back every connector I had unplugged (battery, fans and charging port).

Now when I press the power button nothing happen (not even keyboard lighting up), and the weird thing is that when I plug the charging cable, the orange led stays off, so I guess the problem is somewhere between the charging port and the battery but I'm not sure. Any Idea ?

Redo all the steps that you did to clean the laptop first, and check all the connection, as I hope that the first time that you did this "you disconnected the main battery" as if you didn't, then you could have shorted the main power rail of the laptop or you could have done that anyway, as you need to wear an anti static wrist band while opening a laptop or working on any electronic devices.

The AN515-54 laptops RTC/BIOS battery is underneath the main battery

If that doesn't work then do a Hard Reset by taking the main battery out, disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and shots its +&- plug with a metal screwdriver or tweezers (where its circled in the caption above) and take all the ram out, leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect everything back, as your laptop should power on and work properly. If not, then you have done other damage that a technician needs to pinpoint the exact problem(s) that your laptop has. Good luck.
