Hi !

Could you possibly enable XMP support in upcoming BIOS updates for this motherboard ?
I among many others have a need to upgrade memory beyond the amount that was delivered with machine. It is just so much easier to find memory with XMP profile for 3200 Mhz compared to finding ones with JEDEC 3200-22 profile.

Since my machine came with Kingston FURY memory modules, i tried to find similar ones.
As Kingston does not even recognise the modules by part number its hard for layman to get things right when upgrading.

Original ones were p/n ACR32D4U2S8HD-8F, the ones i ordered for upgrade were KF432C16BBK2/32, and unfortunately they only have DDR4-2400 CL17-17-17 @ 1.2 JEDEC..

The Acer Nitro N50-650 desktop does not support overclocked XMP type ram and Acer will never upgrade the bios for this desktop to work with this type of ram, this desktop only uses the standard ram that this desktop is designed for which is a 288-pin DIMM DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 SDRAM type ram modules at capacities of 2GB/ 4GB / 8GB / 16GB in this configuration

Don't worry about trying to match the Kingston oem ram P/N ACR32D4U2S8HD-8F as its ok to get a similar ram from another manufacturer and add the extra 8GB DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 ram to the DIMM2.

Have a look at the Crucial Acer NITRO N50-650 RAM & SSD Upgrades as they make suitable ram (don't buy the Crucial Pro 288pin DDR4-3200MT/s, type XMP ram as it will not work) only use modules to upgrade your Nitro N50-650 desktop listed below to upgrade this desktop that can have a max total of 64GB 288pin type ram.

These are the compatible standard Crucial ram and kits that are compatible with the Nitro N50-650 desktop that you can buy:

    • 64GB Kit - CT2K32G4DFD832A - DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8 • PC4-25600
    • 32GB Kit - CT2K16G4DFRA32A - DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8 • PC4-25600
    • 16GB Kit - CT2K8G4DFRA32A - DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16 • PC4-25600
    • 1x 8GB Module - CT8G4DFRA32A - DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16 • PC4-25600

Also upgrade the oem Gen 4 x4 M.2 SSD if you have a slow oem drive fitted by Acer with the fastest Gen 4 x4 M.2 SSD which is the Samsung 990 Pro NVMe type drive. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
