Problems with both SSD and RAM memory on my Acer Nitro v15 ANV15-51-58AZ

Soo, I just bought my laptop a week ago, it came with a 8gb ddr5 5200mhz ram, but as you can figure its not enough for gaming and programming stuff, so I bought a 16gb ddr5 4800mhz ram kingston fury to add up and have 24gb, but they dont seem to work together?? It only works if I use one or the other, but both the pc just dont boot up.

The other problem is related to SSD, I also bought a 500gb SSD from crucial, PCle 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, but whenever I tried to use both SSD the fans go wild, they just turn up to maximum velocity even though my pc was on desktop with nothing open.

I am doing something wrong here? Or thats just how things works? cause my previous laptop never had any issues like this (it was a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3i)

The Nitro ANV15-51 laptops with cpu's i9-13900H, i7-13620H and i5-13420H have a designated max memory speed of DDR5 5200 MT/s (governed by the Intel cpu memory speed for the cpu) and if you put DDR5-5600MT/s speed this faster ram will be downclocked to 5200MT/s speed, so be aware of that.

This ANV15-51 only works with equal capacity ram in its DIMM 1 and 2 slots you cant have a 1x 8GB DDR5-5200MT/s and a 1x 16GB DDR5-4800MT/s type ram as the laptop will not boot. This laptop either has to have 2x 8GB or 2x16GB DDR5-5200MT/s or DDR5600MT/s type ram to work and boot correctly. The total max capacity ram modules (as is recommended by Acer) is 32GB or if you look at the Crucial ANV1551 laptops ram upgrade recommendation they recommend a max total 64GB ram, so use their ram 16 or 32 or 64 kit modules as they will work and its the best solution.

The ANV15-51 laptop has these Storage specs, its JSSD1 boot slot is a Gen 4 x4 type M.2 drive and its JSSD2 slave drive slot is a Gen 3 x4 type drive like the its specs below from the service guide

The fans have nothing to do with adding an extra M.2 SSD drive, its just how the laptop is at first as its got to adjust to the extra hardware as adding an extra M.2 SSD the drive does get hot so maybe the Crucial M.2 drive is adding heat to the laptop and the fans are compensating for this extra heat. But the fans should only be spinning all the time but just and at max monetarily. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Ram type tested and recommended by Acer for the ANV15-51 laptop which will work at 5200MT/s speed

Thanks man, that was really useful, i was stressing myself out trying to understand why they weren't working properly, even asked some friends about and we were all "***** idk" cause usually we never get this type of problems haha, but another thing, and another thing, you said it needs to have a 5200/5600mhz to boot and work correctly, so if i put 2 rams of 4800mhz it wont work properly? as the reason why I'm asking this is, from my country the difference between the 5200/5600 module and 4800 is significant, and as for now I can only afford to get the 4800mhz one ;/

If you fit 2x DDR5-4800MT/s speed ram the laptop will not work at its max ram speed of 5200MT/s but it will work at 4800MT/s speed. Make sure that in your country the DDR5-488MT/s speed ram is type DDR5-4800MT/s - CL=40 • Non-ECC • SODIMM • 262-pins • 1.1V • 1Rx16 based • PC5-38400 type ram as the CL is very important as and if its different then your laptop will not boot and work with a different CL type ram. Good luck.
