Monitor calibration, when transfer photo the monitor profile Acer H236HL appears to be defective.

Whenever I transfer a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop for processing, the message is "The monitor profile Acer H236HL appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software. I don't believe I have this software.

    That is because there isn't software from Acer to calibrate an H236HL. That monitor is something like 12 years old and wasn't designed for higher end graphics work. You can tweak the settings to what seems to match the output, but you will have to go with third party solutions to try and get it closer. Acer has software for that type of thing for their ConceptD monitors, which are designed for graphics and video development.

    Well, that is why I don't have the software! Thank you. Maybe need new monitor.
