Hey!
So i have this old-ish second hand Acer g3-605 pc, and it has been bluescreening quite a bit. The error messages pointed towards an issue with the ram, so after trying the usual fixes (updating drivers, checking memory health etc) i decided to buy new sticks of ram and switch them out. Checked that the new ram is Ddr3, same clock speed, same cas latency, only difference is that the new ram is 2x8gb instead of 4x4gb. The Pc won't turn on with the new ram. Sometimes i get to the acer logo screen, sometimes not even there. Can't access bios or boot menu. I tried few different slot confics, even filling up the empty slots with the old ram, but no luck. The pc still boots fine with just the old ram.
So, any ideas on how to get the pc to accept the new ram?
