And yes I used google beforehand.

Hey there friends. I plan on upgrading the ram on this laptop from the 2x4 Gb sticks to 2x16 Gb sticks and I'd like to know if the memory I chose for it won't just fry my machine or anything.

Running a script on powershell, I figured that my current memory is this:

Bank Label: BANK 0
Capacity (GB): 4
Speed (MHz): 3200
Manufacturer: A-DATA Technology
Part Number: AD4S3200J4G22-BHYD
Form Factor: 12

DDR4, or so it seems.

I plan on getting two ram sticks of 16gb capacity of the DDR4 kind and boasting 3200 MHz. I've been told to avoid XMP-marketed memory since it's allegedly prone to causing some problems. I therefore chose some Micron stuff, this right here:

https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct16g4sfra32a

No mention of XMP there. They also have a quite comprehensive bank of laptops and their compatible memories available. The problem is that my damned machine isn't in there.

So. Would I be safe purchasing two of these sticks and just slapping them into my machine?

Thanks in advance.
