"Why is my Acer Swift Go 14 not powering on despite being connected to a charger?

I was playing a game on my laptop while it was charging, and I didn’t notice the battery was being drained. Eventually, the battery became completely discharged, displaying a 'critically low power' warning. I tried troubleshooting by adjusting the charger and testing it on another device, where it worked perfectly fine. However, the laptop itself remains unresponsive. When I press the power button, the power light flashes five times, which is the only indication of any life in my laptop.

Hi, reset the battery by sticking a pin in the small pinhole with a battery sign at the back of the laptop. Press the pin down till you feel it click, keep pressing for 5 seconds and remove the pin. Connect the charger and try to boot. If this fails, I recommend bringing the laptop and charger to Acer Services in your country, you have 1 year left on the warranty so you can also submit online a Repair under warranty ticket at Acer Support and wait for a response by e-mail with instructions.

There have been a bunch of different Swift Go 14 models. Which one do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SFG14-xxx-xxxx. Without the full model number we don't even know if your is Intel or AMD based, much less how old it is or what chipset version is used.
