Hi! I'd like to report the spelling of "congratulations" and for the brand i think it should be capital A for Acer?

Hi, don't use Acer Care Center it is badly written, hangs a lot in W11, interferes with WU and runs constantly at the background draining your resources, you can't completely uninstall ACC as it will reinstall with WU but you can try keeping accSvc and accAgentSvc services disabled in Windows Services (stop these services, right click on Properties and change Starup type to Disabled, click on apply).

You might contact Acer support to tell them of the issue. We here are all just other Acer users, so we can't do anything about the misspelling… Acer Care Center is one of those programs that has a different version for each different machine, though I believe the differences are mostly due to new models being released. I don't personally have any issues with the app, I leave it installed and active on all my systems, though obviously Puraw has had some sort of issue…

Completely AGREE. It also failed miserably getting updates that were listed in the driver section.

I have managed to uninstall it however.

It will install again, all the Acer apps are in Software Components Device Manager and WU will update these, just check Windows Services sometimes that ACC is not running, I even removed ACC from the Windows registry but were refreshed. Poorly written apps. I have an Asus laptop and MyAsus apps have similar issues, not 100% compatible with Windows11 (outdated), Acer BIOS has far more control/options, Asus BIOS is a "Black Box" 😑

12 months in and has not reinstalled. I'm currently on Windows 11 24H2. I've also removed most of the other Acer bloatware and it has not returned.

I also disabled all of the Acer scheduled tasks apart from PredatorSense which I use.
