Headphones 3.5 mic insert no longer detecting after update. It is an Nitro AN515-54 Laptop

Hello, as stated above my headset's microphone stopped working after an audio update. The area where you plug it is works since I was using it seconds prior to the update and now its not working at all the sounds on the headphones works but the microphone that's attached isn't working at all. I've tried using the device manager to downgrade the update and the services tab to restart the sound, made sure the sound permissions were on and nothing. It is an AN515-54 Laptop and Im not sure what to do.

Hi, do a System Restore to a day before that update, you won't lose any data, just the update. type retore in the Search bar and click on "Create a restore point" and "System Restore" and select a date:
