I am looking to upgrade the RAM on my Predator Orion 5000 to DDR5 64 SDRAM and wanted to make sure that the pin count on the 2x32 GB 288 PIN cards are compatible with the PIN count on the memory slots on the mother board. How do I find the pin count for the existing slots?

The DDR5 RAM slot on your Predator Orion 5000 has 288 pins. This is a standard pin count for DDR5 DIMM modules.

The pin count isn't what you need to know in order to verify memory will fit in the slot. They all have the same pin count as Puraw says. The difference between the various DDR versions is where the pins aren't, there is a slot that is in different positions for different DDR versions, so you can't accidentally put a DDR4 module into a DDR5 slot.

Absolutely, the DDR5 RAM you're looking at with 288 pins will fit in your Predator Orion 5000. Just check that the RAM's speed and voltage are compatible with your system to ensure optimal performance.
