I am reaching out regarding a display issue on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58.

Issue Details:

When the screen displays a black background, the edges of the screen appear white. This issue is temporary and typically disappears after approximately one hour of use. Restarting or shutting down the laptop also resolves the issue temporarily. However, if the laptop remains unused for a day, the white edges reappear the next time I power it on, and the pattern repeats.

This problem has been occurring for about a week. I ensure that my laptop is always up to date with the latest versions of Windows, drivers, and BIOS.

Could you please advise if this issue indicates a serious hardware problem? Additionally, is it possible to repair or resolve this issue under warranty?

This issue is likely from the monitor itself. The humidity has been inside the monitor causing the foggy borders, this will disappear when the monitor warms up for a few moments. You can ask local Acer to repair it under warranty.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
