I got this laptop awhile ago and I have been having troubles so I decided to update the drivers. To my surprise the driver being used is the Iris XE and this particular laptop is the model with the Nvidia 4050. I had some trouble installing Nvidia software (From acer driver support) to it which I eventually succeeded installing. However, Nvidia software does not detect the video card. What should I do from here?

You don't need to install the Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics latest drivers, let windows update do this driver update automatically, as if you update the Intel graphics to the Intel latest driver version, you will get screen flickering from the new Intel graphics driver. So, and if you updated this driver, uninstall it and install the oem Acer AN515-58 Intel VGA driver version 31.0.101.3302 dated: 2023/02/09 and then allow windows update to update this driver to the compatible Intel graphics driver for the AN515-58.

With the NVidia RTX4050 driver, first uninstall the last driver that you have installed that is not showing the RTX4050 gpu, go to Control Panel > Uninstall a program > then completely uninstall the that last driver, then, install the last Game Ready Driver for the RTX4050 Driver Version: 566.14.

When you install this driver, make sure that you click on "Perform a clean installation" as doing that type of an install, this install will delete all the previous versions of any NVidia RTX drivers that you have on your system and it will do a CLEAN INSTALL, as it could be that the drivers are getting corrupted as you have stacked too many NVidia drivers on top of each other. Afterwards and when the NVidia driver is installed, install the NVidia GeForce Experience software as that will notify you of all the new RTX4050 gpu drivers and you can download and install them through this software and this software will also assist your gaming as its got over 1500 settings for the major games on the market. Good luck and hope this solves you problems with your laptop.

Alright so I did the clean installation but when I try to install the NVIDIA GeForce Experience Software I get "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue" No NVIDIA GPU is detected on your system.

This was not an issue before and even Nitrosense does not detect my GPU activity like it used to.

    Model: AN515-58-76LP

This is what I get from it, for whatever reason it seems that the hardware is not recognized anymore.

This is my last update since I ran out of ideas. I guess something broke in there or the card is kapoot.

Your Nitro AN515-58 must have a faulty either vram, or gpu, have the laptop diagnosed by a technician and see if the problem is just a simple capacitor that can be changed or and if its a mosfet or the vram then the only fix is to use the cpu graphics and disable the dedicated gpu. Good luck.
