It all started when I backed up my friend's 40GB flash disk. after that the laptop is safe. after coming home from school the laptop said "no bootable device". I restarted it and it still didn't work. I have also entered the bios menu. There are no HDD details and boot order. After two days the laptop worked again, very normally all day at school, until I got home and the problem appeared again. The issue always appears when I turn off the machine. My machine is 3 years old. Please help

The "no bootable device" error is due to either your OS has a faulty boot sector that you can repair by going into the Win-11 Advance > Startup repair and see if that fixes this up, to do that, turn the laptop off and ten reboot and press the F10 key, do this 3 times consecutively as this will boot the laptop into the Advanced mode.

Another reason for this phenomenon is that the M.2 SSD boot drive is faulty and needs replacing and the OS cloned onto a new M.2 SSD drive. Also and be aware, that this laptop has a Gen4x4 type boot M.2 SSD drive slot and a Gen 3x4 slave M.2 SSD drive slot, I suggest that you buy a fast and a gaming M.2 SSD boot drive like a Samsung 990 Pro NVMe for a much superior performance than what Acer fitted oem as an M.2 SSD drive boot drive that you have.

Also and another solution that you can try is and If you have a WD M.2 SSD provided by Acer as the boot drive in your AN515-47 laptop, then update the firmware that Acer has for the WD M.2 SSD drives which "Enhance storage performance - 2024/06/24 - version v61507100" and while you are doing that make sure that you have the last bios version 1.15 and also you have the last Win-11 24H2 and have done all the updates to OS build 26100.2454, as all this will make your laptop operate at its best as that could also be a reason why you are getting the "no bootable device" error. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
