Ram slowdown after Upgrade on my Nitro N50-120-EB12 with 16GB

I bought the N50-120-EB12 with 16GB of 3200MHz which correctly shows as 1600MHz per channel (FSB:DRAM of 1:16).

I upgraded with more 3200MHz ram with better CAS specs but it drops the speed to 1200Mhz per channel (FSB:DRAM of 1:12).

I don't see any setting in the BIOS concerning the ram speed that I could modify.

Is there anything I can do to force the computer to run at the same speed as the original ram?

You have to use the oem DDR3200MT/s CL22 type ram for the memory speed to be at 3200MT/s, you cant use different CL valued ram as it will affect speed and not give you the max ram speed of 3200MT/s. The Nitro N50-120 use the DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 type memory. Also, upgrade Win-11 to version 24H2 and the last OS build 26100.2454 as it will have all the latest drivers and firmware updates for your desktop, make sure that you are running the last Acer bios version R01-A2 for best performance and compatibility of your desktop.

Below is all the info that you will need to buy and populate the Nitro N50-120 desktop 4x 288pin DIMM memory slots with the correct memory, do as the guides below instructs you to do and use the ram modules listed below, as using any other modules with different CL values will reduce the rams speed. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Acer only suggest to use DDR4-3200MT/s type ram, as its tested the N50-120 desktop to work 100% correctly with so use the below modules.
