    Hey Mark,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Acer Aspire 5! It sounds like the laptop isn’t powering on, and since you’ve already tried the power button reset and the battery reset, here are a couple more things you can try:

    1. Check the Charger and Cable: Sometimes the charger or cable can stop working. Try using a different charger if you have one available, or test your charger with another device if possible to see if it’s the problem.
    2. Remove All Peripherals: Disconnect anything that’s plugged into the laptop (USB drives, external monitors, etc.) and then try turning it on again.
    3. Try a Hard Reset: With the battery removed, press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds (sometimes more than the usual 60 seconds helps). Then plug in the charger and try turning it on again.
    4. Test with Only the Charger: Plug in the charger without the battery and see if it powers on that way.

If none of these steps work, it might be a hardware issue that requires professional repair. If it's under warranty, I’d recommend reaching out to Acer support for further assistance.

Let me know how it goes or if you need more help!
