PHN16-Battery draining faster than expected, followed all settings,is it common with Gaming laptops?

I have a Predator Helios Neo 16 (2023 version) which I purchased last year around December. It had a 90wh battery, but around 7-8 months later I found that my battery was draining faster, so I checked with powercfg/ batteryreport command, and it showed that my full charge capacity was around 54wh which was pretty low considering my laptop is not that old. And recently I checked last week now it is down to 45wh. Is this issue common I mean with Gaming laptops that battery degrade within a year to such low levels or is it just my laptop. I even followed all the necessary settings that should save battery life. Please tell me.

Hi, average wear for a high-grade Li-Ion battery is 20%/year if regularly charged, more if just stored. A cheap or refurbished Li-Ion battery wears twice as fast and can even be depleted in <1 year. battery life for an Acer endorsed battery is 1,000 full charge cycles but you should replace a laptop battery when it gets below 40% capacity (60% wear) or after 3-4 years as the drainage becomes non-linear with unexpected unreliable behavior (power drops/dead cells).

thanks for the reply, but my current cycle count is 124 and it hasn't been one year since the purchase. Don't you think my battery has degraded a lot in less time. I think the company has used a low quality battery
