I have an Acer Predator XB271HK 4k Monitor, recently after the latest nvidia driver+app update, i have had a black border/frame around my screen. I have tried numerous things problem solving the issue(listed below). I “think” firmware got installed to the monitor during the update, somehow reducing its max resolution. To back that up, when i turn on the monitor before any PC connection, the boot-up screen is also not max resolution. I am not entirely sure, but i am currently unable to find any firmware online for my monitor. Best i could find was drivers for it, which didnt fix anything. I could be wrong, but am deffinetly in need of some help!

What i have tried so far:

Replugging it in :D

Monitor Factory Reset

Reinstall Monitor Driver

Disable/enable GPU

Uninstalled nvidia drivers+app. reinstalled to previous driver i had before the issue, no fix Resolution Settings are correct, checked scaling options, all are fine.

I use multiple monitors, so have tried just booting with the problem one. And reinstalling the above a 2nd time.

Tried on both inputs Display Port+HDMI.

Nvidia has a screen rescaling option, but will not extend anymore. Adjust Size/Position(currently maxed
