Hi, there is a small pinhole in the back of your laptop (with a battery sign), stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. This will reset the battery.

If your laptop won't turn on but the power light stays on, try the following troubleshooting steps:

    Force a Shutdown:

    • Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds. This should force the laptop to shut down. If the light doesn't turn off, keep holding the button until it does.
      Disconnect Power Sources:
    • Unplug the laptop from the power adapter.
    • If your laptop has a removable battery, take it out. If it doesn’t, skip this step.

    Discharge Residual Power:

    • Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds to discharge any residual power.
    • Reinsert the battery (if applicable) and reconnect the power adapter.

    Try to Boot Up:

    • Press the power button to turn the laptop back on. Observe any sounds or lights that indicate it is booting.

    Check for External Devices:

    • Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, external monitors, etc.) and try to turn on the laptop again.

    Inspect for Hardware Issues:

    • If the laptop still does not boot, there may be a hardware issue. Listen for any unusual sounds (like beeping) that can indicate specific problems.
    • If possible, connect the laptop to an external display to check if it’s a screen issue.

    Seek Professional Help:

    • If none of these steps work, it may be time to consult a professional technician, as the issue could be related to the motherboard, power supply, or other internal components.
