How to get help from customer service if Serial Number is only 10 digits?

does anyone know how I can get in touch with customer service please? The serial number on the back of my child’s tablet is only 10 digits and not the 11/12 it requests so the phone will not connect me, the same with live chat. When I try to go through the email form it just takes me to a search page which is also not useful to me.

Ensure the serial number is correct by checking it in Settings > About Tablet. Look for any spaces or errors. You will able to find correct serial number.

unfortunately the tablet hasn’t been used for a while and we can’t remember the pin so we can’t get into it. Done a factory reset and it still asks for the pin, can’t get to talk to customer services because the serial number won’t be accepted so it a real problem.

That's a security feature like Factory Reset Protection (FRP).  Log in with the Google account previously linked to the tablet. This may allow you to bypass the PIN requirement

If issue persists, Your Local shops may offer services to bypass the PIN on your tablet, but this can vary by location and legality. It's essential to ensure the shop is reputable and follows legal guidelines Or you can directly visit acer service center as they can't bypass online.
