Is it okay to use laptop's own keyboard for gaming?

I have the i5 13th gen version of the acer predator laptop and I mainly do gaming on it. But my concern is, as I use the laptop's own keyboard for gaming, is it going to damage the keyboard in long-run or should I buy an external keyboard or I am fine using the integrated keyboard.

Using the integrated keyboard for gaming on your Acer Predator laptop is generally fine. Acer Predator keyboards are designed to withstand intense, long-term gaming sessions, with switches rated for a high number of keystrokes, making them durable and reliable for both casual and professional gamers.

However, if you prefer a different feel or additional features like customizable RGB lighting, macro keys, or mechanical switches, you might consider an external keyboard. It's ultimately a matter of personal preference and comfort.

Using the built-in keyboard on a laptop for gaming shouldn’t really cause any damage if you keep it in good shape. That said, if you're playing a lot, you might notice some wear and tear over time.

If you play soul-type games like I do, you might find yourself smashing your laptop keyboard in frustration! That’s why it’s a good idea to use an external keyboard. Typing heavily on a laptop keyboard can really wear it down over time

Personally, I've been gaming for over four years, primarily using an external keyboard or controller, and I rarely use the laptop's keyboard for gaming.

A laptop being a lap-top, would be inconvenient to use if the built-in keyboard breaks and you'd have to carry a peripheral keyboard everywhere you go. So it is generally advised not to use the keyboard on the Laptop, rather buy one and use it for gaming.
For gaming, you need a keyboard that is durable and can responds fast. So I think a full-size mechanical keyboard is BEST for gaming.

    Hello
Using a laptop's built-in keyboard for gaming is fine for casual play, but it may not offer the best experience for more competitive gaming. Laptop keyboards are often smaller and less responsive compared to dedicated gaming keyboards, which can affect precision and comfort during long sessions. For improved performance, gamers typically prefer external keyboards with better key switches, customizable macros, and enhanced ergonomics, but for occasional gaming, the laptop’s keyboard should suffice.
