Dear friends greetings, I have an ASPIRE AG15-31P with the problem of not being able to format and install WIN 10 PRO because at the time of installation does not recognize the hard disk does not show it, I have already done any number of procedures including IRST of other models which I have not been successful, because IRST for the model I have is not available, I need to install WIN 10 PRO for a work issue and I have not been able to move forward.

If someone from the community has the solution I would appreciate if you could help me.

Hi, this is a 2024 100% Windows11 budget laptop and it is not recommended to downgrade the system to W10 as the Microsoft drivers may not be compatible, the Acer BIOS version is 1.10 from 2024/09/27 for Windows11 23H2. There is no IRST driver available on Acer Support for this model, you can try to download a W10 version from Intel Support.

Go to the Intel Download Center and download the latest Intel® RST version. On the following open page, find and click SetupRST.exe. When it completes downloading, double-click the .exe file to install the driver.

Hi PURAW thanks for your answer, I understand that I can not install Windows 10 PRO by your explanation, the laptop currently has Windows 11 home, just at this time I'm trying just as well to install Windows 11 PRO and does not allow me.

I appreciate your time in responding if you have any other suggestions or information I would like to read it.

Hello AXXO thank you for your answer, I comment that this was done yesterday under a procedure that I got in a forum, however, I will try again to download the SetupRST.exe from the INTEL page.

If I manage to solve the problem I will let you know again and thank you very much for your answer.
