have an older ACER PC with a dvd rw.

I'd like to install the dvd into my new ACER Aspire TC-1785 Desktop PC - Intel® Core™ i5, 1 TB SSD that doesn't have one.

Is there anywhere I can get instructions on how to install a dvd rw.

the new ppc Came with some cables and metal brackets.

thx chris

With the side cover off, you remove the HDD bracket:

Then you remove the ODD bracket:

Connect the SATA data and power cable:

I think that does it… Just put the cover back on and you should be good to go.

Nope, that is one of the old style 5.25" drives, not the newer slimline drives. You might think seriously about just getting an external drive that connects to USB. Those will likely be faster than that one. :)
