Hey I found this predator po3-600 with a 9700f and 1660 ti laying around and dusted it off and got it running. Threw some extra storage in there and I am satisfied with it so far.

My biggest issues are: When the front panel is connected the power button on the panel doesnt work and I am not sure how its supposed to work. I dont see anything that is supposed to hit the physical button on the chassis. If anyone can tell me how to fix that I would appreciate it. Maybe I am missing a wire or something 0 clue.

I would also like to know if its possible to get a replacement side panel? The case is missing one and if I am unable to acquire one, would I be able to throw this motherboard into another case? I have seen some other posts which say I wont be able to use the headphone jacks etc I am not great with computers so if someone can break that down I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers.

Your problem seems like its the On/Off switch that is faulty and does not engage properly to power on the desktop, its either the + pin or the - pin. Acer does not have a part listing for that switch. Check the mainboard front panel header at #6 and #8 (see caption below) and see if they are connected properly to the mobo and the switch.

If you want to change the case then you will not be able to use all the front ports of this desktop, as this mainboard is a special Acer proprietary shape and its close to a standardized mATX size mainboard size, so you will need to buy a case to suite that size. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Below is the PO3-600 side cover and the front bezel (that might come with a switch?) see if you can buy these online, search with the Acer part number on the right.

The power button is self contained in the front panel, so it doesn't need to push anything. There is likely four wire for it, two are the button itself and two are the LED indicator built into it. Does the button work when the front panel isn't installed? If it does, and it doesn't work when installed, there's a physical issue that keeps the button from depressing enough to trigger the switch.
