Hi,

Aspire A715-76G (i5-12450H) (RTX3050 4GB)

I want to know in detail what Gen SSD supports, the number of slots available, and how much capacity I can upgrade for both RAM and SSD.

    @KaliPrasadSahu

    SSD Compatibility

    • Primary M.2 Slot: Supports PCIe NVMe Generation 4.0 x4 2280 and 3.0 x4 SSDs.
    • Secondary M.2 Slot: Supports PCIe NVMe Generation 3.0 x4 2280 SSDs.

    RAM Upgrade

    The laptop has two memory slots. You can upgrade the RAM as follows:

    • Maximum Memory: 32GB (two slots of 16GB each)
    • Standard Memory: 16GB (one slot of 16GB)

    This is the ram specs given for the Aspire A715-76G, but the cpu model number i5-12450H is not listed in the Acer service guide, they quote model numbers i5-12500H and i5-1240P.

    This laptop has 2x PCIe M.2 SSD drive slots. The boot drive is a Gen4, 16 Gb/s, NVMe type M.2 SSD and the SSD2 drive is a PCIe3x 4lane M.2 SSD slot and the storage specs is quoted at capacities of 512 GB / 1 TB.

    Note: that capacities in a windows OS is governed by the formatting of the drive and laptops with GUID (GPT) format type can operate with drives of up to 8 petabytes in theory and a 2TB and a 4TB M.2 SSD should work in this laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    This is the Acer memory specs and modules you should use for the A715-76G laptop
