Missing Windows 11 variable refresh rate option on Display setting, on Acer kg241y P3.
Hello, I just bought an Acer Nitro kg241y p3. My PC is a SFF factor, which has ryzen 7 pro 6850h processor and iGPu AMD Radeon 680m. I'm running on Window 11
In the Window display setting, where it is to choose refresh rate, it goes from 50hz to 180Hz option. But the variable refresh rate option is missing.
I already updated my windows 11 to the latest update. I also updated my graphic card driver.
The driver for the monitor ( Acer kg241y p3) is also updated (acer-kg241y-1592371 driver), which I found on the Acer website. I tried both this driver update and the default Window Generic PnP monitor, both didn't work.
I already enabled Freesync premium setting on the Monitor OSD, as well as enabled Freesync in AMD Adrenaline. But it still doesn't work (variable refresh rate option is missing in Display setting).
I tried playing games with the Freesync mode, but my monitor refresh rate is static.
Can someone help me please.

Hi, you need a VRR capable monitor. Check this link to tweak the registry to enable VRR: Enable or Disable Variable Refresh Rate for Games in Windows 11 Tutorial | Windows 11 Forum

Hello kind sir, thank you for your help. so i already follow the steps and enable VRR in the setting. Even in registry, the VRR is enable. But there is still no option for variable refresh rate in the setting for 'choose refresh rate' (like the example attached). Only selection from 50Hz to 180Hz.
Does this means the VRR already enable? (Sorry im not too familiar). Because when I choose 180Hz, my monitor refresh rate is fixed 180Hz even in windows desktop. And when I choose 60Hz, when I go into game (expecting would go slightly increase), my monitor refresh rate fixed to 60Hz.
Or do my understanding of VRR wrong (sorry if this stupid question).
My monitor is Acer Nitro KG241 Y P3, i believe it is VRR capable monitor (there is option for freesync in monitor osd)
