Hi, your SNID and serial number are located on a label on the side of your desktop, Acer SNID numbers are 11 or 12 digits and do not contain letters. Acer serial numbers are 22 alpha-numeric characters, and will always use zero and never the letter O. Your serial number is also listed in your BIOS.

You don't and/or need a windows serial key, as no Win-10 Pro serial key is needed to install a windows OS on an Aspire desktop, as windows detects your key and activates your windows OS automatically, you don't need a key. You can install a 3rd party key finder (sorry we cant give you any specific software as its forbidden on this community) but this serial key will do nothing. Go to "Activate Windows" as its got all the guides for you. Good luck and hope this helps you out some more.

If your system came from the factory with Windows Home, then you have to purchase the upgrade to Pro, and that purchase will come with it's own activation code.

    To clarify my question.
I have a classic Acer Aspire desktop with Win10 pro and is trying to find the desktop serial number & SNID for this beast with the following results
. There is no label on the case.
    - Has tried to use the utility that is supposed to work with all pc's running on windows but this leaves fields for SN and SNID empty.
Has also installed Acers Care Center with the same empty fields for SN and SNID plus show the motherboard being A7GM-S 2.0.
    - Has read that the SN should be part of the BIOS but not found SN during the first glance.
    Suggestions?

Look in System Information, as I remember you can right click on my computer or go to settings/systems.

Some times the tag is on the bottom of the computer.

Right click on the START Icon, then SYSTEM (About) will show all Device ID and Product ID.

First big question, why do you need the SN or SNID? A "classic Acer Aspire" desktop is very, very unlikely to still be in warranty, and that's the only thing those numbers are used for. It's possible the motherboard was replaced at some point, not by Acer, and so the numbers didn't get written to the BIOS.
