I recently formatted my laptop by returning it to factory settings. Everything works great, but there is a problem with the backlight. The thing is that when I turn on the laptop, 10-15 seconds after loading Windows, the backlight on my Logitech G502 Hero mouse turns off. It turns on only if I disconnect the USB and turn it on again. Although after exiting the game, when the main video card is disconnected, the backlight turns off again... There is no such problem only if you use the breathing effect or zoom. I don’t know why the developers don’t fix this problem and generally don’t optimize the programs enough.

I don't know why this application has so many problems on the newest version. Having returned Nitrosense to the old version, there are no such problems. But the thing is that the new version has a balanced battery charging mode (No charging after 80%), which I miss. I have to use the old version of the program. There is not even a button to contact support and explain this problem to them so that they can solve it.

My Device:

Acer Nitro 17 AN17-41

Ryzen 7 7840HS

RTX 4050

If your Nitro AN17-41 works perfectly with the older version of NS leave it as it is "don't fix anything that is not broke". With the 80% battery charge, its a gimmick and it doesn't work and/or preserves the battery. If you really want this 80% feature, then this setting is on the Acer Care Centre which is on the Acer support page for the AN17-41 laptop.

Just from personal experience, I've always had laptops plugged into their adapter/main power 24/7 while using them on a desk (which is about 90% of the time) and their batteries lasted 6 years, of course if you use your laptop more as a mobile platform then a battery needs to be replaced after 4 years as its charge depletes quicker. But do not fall for the 80% gimmick, as it doesn't work and also the Acer Care Centre also causes problems. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
