I just bought a Nitro laptop, and I have to turn on num lock every time I boot into Windows. I have changed the key edit in registry edit to (2) like I read in multiple searches I made. I also turned off fast boot that was recommended. I also looked in the BIOS for num lock and the BIOS has no num lock option. Can anyone help me with this? Is it possible on these laptops?

The "NumLk" needs to be turned on after a reboot, so what? This is especially with the new 24H2 Win-11 update which I've noticed lately, which is not a problem as if you do it a few times it turns on automatically, which happened to me. But surely, its not a too big of an effort for you to raise your finger and press the "NumLk" key after a reboot 😁 or after the laptop was turned off? Keep it simple and DO NOT change values from their oem settings in the registry, as it can cause problems to your laptop OS functionality and its not recommended. Good luck.

Just because some people want to be unhelpful and ignorant, here is the answer to your question. It's simple and takes less than a minute to complete. Mine had a string of numbers in the keyboard indicators spot, but they're essentially equal to "0" so just wipe them out and put in the number 2.

Keep in mind, this isn't done through the command prompt, it's done through the registry editor. You won't type in the path but rather select the files in order from the drop downs. Hope this helps!
