Two days ago I bought my first gaming laptop, an Acer Nitro V15, 144HZ, Ryzen 5, Geforce RTX 3050, 16GB RAM DDR5.

I've noticed (through NitroSense) when using for daily tasks the CPU temp is around 48C (on power save mode). However, when I plug in to charge the laptop that jumps almost immediately to around 65-72C and the fans start. The CPU usage is normally around 5-12% as I'm really just using Office and Chrome Browser, daily tasks essentially.

Are these temperatures normal? Is it not rather high for such low CPU usage? If it's not could you suggest a solution?

I've removed a lot of the bloatware which helped especially when unplugged. I haven't tried gaming yet. As this is my first gaming laptop I don't know if these temps are normal or not.

Thanks in advance.
