acer nitro 5 AN 515-57 Successfully installed 2TB SSD, next testing on 4TB and Upgrading RAM to 64GB

Good afternoon,

I can confirm that by my laptop works 2TB internal storage ssd card not the 2.5" one.just the one what you just plug in from those 2 slots.

I had to go into disk management first after checking in bios if it is visible there.Yes it was and then by dis management directly pop up a window. I followed all instruction from chatgpt and voila it works fine.

I bought the 2TB from samsung 990 EVO.It is super fast to transfer files as well.

90GB in 45sec.

now the next test will come soon when I receive my connection cable if 4TB 2.5" ssd 870 EVO. If this works as well perfect.Then i just upgrade the RAM next to max 64GB. and the next step i can cancel to upgrade my graphic card because i don't need so much graphic.the included is fine for my usage.

Will update my post when tested.

So much to the 1TB recommened:)

I know it is possible more.WHY not saying because want make money.:)

Great work and thank you for letting us know about your Nitro AN515-57 upgrades and the 2TB Gen 4 x4 lane Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD drive. Should be interesting how the 4TB 2.5" SATA 3 drive works, as you should install it the same to be recognized in windows with the Disk Management. Also and with this laptops NVidia GPU, you can't upgrade this GPU as its soldered onto the mainboard.
