For the past two days out of no ware my touchpad media control stopped working, I don't recall updating anything. I can swipe to on/off the media controls even sound controls are working like volume up/down and mute are working great, prev, frd, pause/play and Fullscreen are stopped working completely.

I have even tried updating windows and even tochpad drivers from offical acer site but no luck, any help would appreciated. Thanks.

You swipe over the SWIFT text displayed on the touchpad to enable/disable those functions.

Youtube from any browser, I have tried with VLC player too. (both worked earlier )
earlier when I switch to Youtube tab it automatically switches on the media controls but now it doesn't do that as well.

Hi, restore your system to 4 days or so back, you won't lose any data, and it only takes 3 minutes, type restore in Windows Search and click on "Create a restore point" and "System Restore" with a date.

Hi, if restoring the system to when the touchpad media still functioned won't fix it, you have a hardware issue, I recommend bringing the laptop to Acer Services, you still have 1 year warranty left. Note that low power also affects the touchpad, if your battery charge is below 50% and the system is throttling GPU-CPU power to preserve battery power not only will the system performance suffer but also increases touchpad latency.
