Actually, I bought a Acer Nitro v15 laptop in the July this year. But I the keyboard got some dust in it. I want to clean it. Is it free to clean and other service in acer under warranty or they have any charges for it? If charges are applicable then how much. Because in India, They don't tell us the truth, they take money for every thing.

No, cleaning of your laptop is your responsibility and the servicing like changing the paste and thermal pad paste is also your responsibility, thermals don't need to be done for at least 1.5 year and/or unless the laptop overheats and its found that the thermals were not applied properly by Acer, which is very rare.

To clean the keyboard keys, first turn the laptop completely off (its preferable to take the battery out) and then with a water only and a very slightly water damp felt free tissue, wipe the dust off the top of the keys and in between the keys, if the battery is still connected, be careful around the power key that you don't press this key so that the laptop turns on. Thats all that you have to do, as its a very simple process, good luck.

I also have similar question. But not in terms of wiping the external parts for the Laptop, but I am asking about the laptop fans. Is laptop maintenance, such as cleaning the fans be covered under warranty since "opening up" the laptop equates to destroying the warranty coverage? Then how am I supposed to perform all these cleaning by myself if opening my laptop equates to destroying the warranty coverage?

With cleaning the fans and vents you need to open the back of the laptop and get a medium hair strand brush and clean all the dust from around and inside the fan and its blades and the internals of the laptop vents and the top of the mobo, be very careful not to disconnect any connections on the mobo and its best to wear an anti static wrist band when you do this to reduce static. Good luck to all and hope this helps out.
