My laptop doesn't give me the option to connect to Wifi anymore? I'm not a computer whiz and am very confused? I bought a Wifi Wire USB (at the suggestion of others) TP-Link WiFi6 AX1750 and this didn't help either? Help?

I don't know in what country you live or what Wi-Fi types are available there (5G or 6G?) but I would get a simple mobile router offered by the ISP or phone company, not the complicated expensive modem types and don't use USB adapters. You either have an Intel AX200 or Atheros NFA344 Wi-Fi adapter in your 2020 laptop model that both works perfectly in Windows10-11. Reset networking in Windows and try the mobile router in a different location near your laptop.

The Aspire A515-44 laptop has two different Wi-Fi/BT cards one is the Atheros NFA344 and the other is the Intel AX200 card, if your Wi-Fi has stopped working, I suggest that you go to Device Manager and rollback the Wi-Fi driver to its original oem Acer installed driver version for the Atheros NFA344 card which is the driver version: 12.0.0.938 or the Intel AX200 driver version: 22.0.1.1 as these drivers will work 100%, so do this:

    • Go to > Device Manager > Network adapters > select the whichever Wi-Fi Card your laptop has > right click the card Properties > Driver > Update Driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > and then pick the oem Acer driver for the Wi-Fi card that is in that list, and reinstall that driver, as afterwards your Wi-Fi should work.

Do the above and if rolling back the Wi-Fi driver doesn't work, then its your area network and/or modem that is the problem so have that checked out. Good luck
